The gap

God created wood, sometimes hard, sometimes soft. But one thing, so he spoke, remains always the same, it will never pause or rest, will work, shall always be on quest.

And so he gave to the wood the cell, now it could shrink and swell. But when it shrunk it became quite clear, there was a piece, but nothing here.

And so spoke the Lord, the Wise: My dear wood, this is the gap. Carry it with pride and good, this way you be known as wood. Gaps are also part of nature, understand this man and do not be so stubborn if you can.
