Task:
The task demands were complex. It ranged from general acoustics improvement and the design of a room with adaptable dimensions and installations, up to preservation of a highly valuable facade.
In addition, a quick, simple re-construction with the possibility of room-saving storage. Particularly important was the adaption of the concert dome to the existing house-platform-system.

Solution:
The execution was done in veneer layered sandwich-boards, which, with very little weight, have a high stiffness. The sandwich panels were fitted on to the similarly light as well as stable aluminium construction in different radii – the varied radii comply with the detailed guidelines for acoustic conditions.
To ensure their multiple function the elements can be used in different combinations. The towers can be driven without hindrance or rather with the aid of a delivered power-driven transporter. A counter-weight ensures a maximum of stability. Storing is quite easy and simple: the ceilings are deposited, one on top of the other, on steadfast trolleys with Vulkolan-rollers, unhinged and transported separately.
Suspension is also achieved with the help of the trolleys. These are pushed one into the other until the ceilings are hooked-in. With a tension lever they are locked and positioned into the lifts. For storage the towers are pushed one into the other.
